Every child’s story is different. Some discover their confidence on stage, others on the sports field. But what they all share is the need for a place that encourages them to try. AtEpsom College Malaysia (ECM), students are given that space. Established in 2014, ECM brings the educational philosophy ofEpsom College in the UK (ECUK) to an international community of learners.
Here, students learn in a nurturing environment that blends a world-class British education with Asian heritage. The curriculum goes beyond textbooks, with financial and AI literacy, digital skills, critical thinking and creativity built in to prepare students for a fast-changing world. This strong academic approach is reflected in Epsom College Malaysia’s results — 74% of A-Level grades are awarded at A*–B, significantly above the UK average. Graduates consistently secure places at leading universities worldwide, including the UK’s G5 institutions: University of Oxford, University of Cambridge, Imperial College London, London School of Economics and Political Science, and University College London, as well as top universities in the US and other global destinations.

Boarding at ECM: Where students learn, live, and lead
Located on a 50-acre lush campus in Bandar Enstek, just south of Kuala Lumpur, this world-class British boarding school feels almost hidden from the rush of the outside world. Yet behind the quiet setting is a lively international community, where boarders from more than 30 nationalities live and grow together. Each Boarding House becomes a home away from home, welcoming students into an environment that encourages independence and resilience, where friendships are built to last a lifetime. Daily life is carefully supported behind the scenes. High-quality medical care is combined with personalised pastoral guidance and well-balanced meals. Together, they ensure students are looked after as individuals so they can focus on learning, exploring new interests, and making the most of life at ECM.
Each day kicks off with breakfast in the Dining Hall, a chance to catch up with friends before lessons begin. Later, after a device-free lunch, classes continue, followed by everyone heading off to theirCo-curricular Activities (CCA). With more than 150 options per term, there’s space for every interest: sports and fitness, creative art and drama, music, academic clubs, and community initiatives. The day wraps up with dinner, supervised prep time, and some games, before students return to their boarding houses to shower and get ready for bed.
Elite sports academies
For students who are skilled in tennis, golf or football and are keen to grow in thesesports, there’s plenty to get excited about. Through the Mouratoglou Academy Malaysia (MAM), tennis players work with professional coaches on an International Tennis Federation (ITF)-compliant 11-court tennis complex. The facilities include four indoor covered courts, two red clay courts — the only ones in Southeast Asia — as well as seven Australian Open–style courts and two US Open–style surface courts.
Golfers practise daily at the GOLFZON Leadbetter Academy Malaysia, which features a practice range, a 250-metre driving range with wedge target, 30 hitting bays, an 800 sqm putting green, two sand bunkers, a 500sqm chipping green, a fairway green, andTrackMan technology to improve their skills. Finally, aspiring footballers train with LALIGA Academy Malaysia on a FIFA-approved 4G Astroturf field with the V03 camera system, where all matches are recorded and analysed for better performance.
Music at the heart of ECM school life
Music is another big part of life at ECM, enriching experiences from the Early Years through to Sixth Form. Across more than 150 weekly instrumental and vocal lessons, these sessions build a foundation in listening, performing, and composing, while progressing students through internationally recognised qualifications such as ABRSM (The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music), Trinity, and Rockschool.
All of this is backed by exceptional facilities: two specialist music classrooms, 20 practice rooms, two large ensemble rehearsal spaces, a recording studio, a professional 600-seat theatre, and multiple performance venues, such as formal and festival stages.
Students are just as involved outside the classroom, with a full calendar of concerts, competitions, productions, and festivals. These events give them regular opportunities to take the stage, whether as part of orchestras, choirs, chamber groups, or rock bands. Over time, they can refine their skills and progress into more advanced ensembles, including the Epsom Chamber Orchestra.

Award-winning, whole-school pastoral care
Balancing academics, sport, and music may seem demanding, yet it is within this dynamic environment that Epsom College Malaysia’s award-winning pastoral care plays a defining role. The College is one of only six schools globally to hold Double Beacon Status from the Council of British International Schools (COBIS), a testament to Epsom’s innovative approach to British international education and specifically its offerings in Student Welfare and Well-Being and Student Leadership Opportunities across the school.
Central to this support is the House system, a tradition shared with Epsom College in the UK. Each House is led by a dedicated team of Housemasters and Housemistresses, supported by assistants, matrons, graduates, and resident tutors, all available around the clock to provide academic guidance, pastoral care, and a strong sense of belonging.
Discover our 50-acre purpose-built campus in person at our Open Day on 6 June 2026, from 10am onwards.
At Epsom College Malaysia, students are not only prepared for university but are also equipped with the confidence, character, and skills to thrive in life beyond it.
