Leweston School

The LCRA is open to all. Nursery children can spend time with horses as part of their outdoor learning, while riding becomes part of the curriculum from Years 5 to 8. As students get older, they can work towards BHS Challenge and Stage 2 qualifications in Years 10 and 11, before moving on to BTEC Level 3 Equine Management in Sixth Form.
It’s a mix of practical skills, like equine care and anatomy, along with the business side of things, so students get a really well-rounded experience. Industry links also help students find placements and opportunities beyond school.
