Sanima Middle Tamor Hydropower Limited has announced that its subsidiary, Tamor Vyoma Hydro Pvt. Ltd., has received a survey license for a new hydropower project in eastern Nepal.
The survey license, issued on Baishakh 11, 2083 by the Department of Electricity Development under the Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, allows the company to conduct studies for the proposed Dudhkoshi-4 Hydropower Project.
The project, located in Solukhumbu District, is planned with an installed capacity of 47 megawatts (MW). Tamor Vyoma Hydro Pvt. Ltd. has been established as a joint venture between Vyoma Hydropower Pvt. Ltd. and Sanima Middle Tamor Hydropower Limited.
With the issuance of the survey license, the company will now proceed with detailed technical, environmental, and feasibility studies required for the development of the project.
