Under the transnational education (TNE) partnership, ECA College will deliver diploma courses in Information Technology through WHU’s College of Continuing Education.
The agreement, signed in July following almost a year of discussions between the two institutions, marks a new step in ECA’s TNE strategy.
ECA College has also registered WHU as an approved offshore delivery site with the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA), making it ECA’s first offshore delivery location in China.
The programs are aimed at students in China seeking practical, internationally oriented education, with opportunities to develop industry-relevant skills and progress to higher education or employment.
The partnership combines ECA College’s experience in Australian education with WHU’s academic environment and local expertise, the organisations said.

Founded in 1893, WHU is a research-intensive comprehensive university and a member of China’s Double First-Class Initiative.
For ECA, the agreement represents an opportunity to deepen its engagement in China and expand access to Australian education through a local delivery model.

The partnership comes as Australian education providers continue to explore transnational education models that allow students to access Australian qualifications without travelling to Australia.
