Describe MH Global Group in three words or phrases.
Supporting every stage of the student journey
What inspired you to found the company?
After my own experience as an international student, and given some of the difficulties I faced and the lack of advice I was offered, I wanted to make quality international education more accessible. I also wanted to ensure students understand the journey they are about to make and have their expectations met. And of course offer international students life-changing global opportunities!
Today, 14 years later, our organisation supports students, universities, and partners through student recruitment, English language training, pathway programs, and transnational education initiatives.
How would you describe MH Global’s mission in one sentence?
To make high-quality international education accessible to every motivated student, regardless of where they come from or where they choose to study.
How would your team describe your leadership style?
Strategic, collaborative, and supportiveyet data-driven and detail-oriented, but deeply invested in the people around me.
What’s one misconception about international education you’d love to correct?
That it’s only for wealthy families. The reality is that with the right guidance, international education is more accessible than most people think. In terms of my own work, many people around me view international education as a purely commercial activity, but at its core it’s about transforming lives which builds global understanding, and contributes significantly to local and international economies
What keeps you energised outside of work?
What keeps me energised is connecting with people from different cultures, travelling, and mentoring emerging professionals. I find it rewarding to support others’ development, and those experiences continually remind me why international education has such a transformative impact.
What advice would you give a young professional entering the international education space?
My advice would be to invest in relationships and remain culturally curious, and be open to continuous learning. International education is about much more than recruitment – it’s about creating opportunities and changing lives.
Learn the markets, not just the products, the real skill is understanding the student, the family, and the culture behind every student enquiry.
What goals are you currently working towards at work?
We’re in the middle of a significant expansion, building out MH Globalas a truly multi-destination operation. But what has been very exciting recently was obtaining educational (F1) usage for our building in St Clare Street in the City of London. We are currently seeking partnerships with providers to turn the 12,500 square foot building into a teaching space.
If you could accomplish one big thing in the next year, what would it be?
Can I say two things? We are making significant progress with a TNE partnership between a UK university and a public institution in Bangladesh and hope to commence teaching next year.
We are also about to launch our latest innovation which is a payment platform transforming student payments and streamlining agent commission management through a single integrated operating system. We should be up and running in August. It is very exciting as we move into different areas of international education.
